[考生必看] 2025年DSE Past Paper續篇 – 考生佳作分享

2025年DSE《試題專輯》(Past Paper)已於11月10日出版。我們在上星期的網誌向大家介紹報告內有關改善應考表現的實用建議,今篇網誌將繼續分享輯錄於《試題專輯》中,不同考生在中國語文科和英國語文科的優異作答表現與示例,讓即將應考DSE的考生借鏡與參考。

中國語文科:

甲部指定篇章 - 考生在考核基礎語文和文言知識部分的表現不俗,令人欣喜。

乙部白話篇章 - 語文基礎知識方面,考生較擅長辨識修辭手法,表現不俗。

另外,於一些要求考生多發揮和思考的題目,如乙部第13題,也有部分考生在說明「文學的目光讓人看事物會有與別不同的領悟」時,表現優異,對「文學的目光」理解透徹,思考深刻,闡述清晰,例如:

「一塊土地,植物學家會見到花草蕨類,這是理論上、現實層面的意義,廚師會見到食材,亦是現實層面上的需求,房地產商看見的是商機,是從現實上的名、利等物質層面的思考。而文學看到的不只是現在的土地,卻會從古到今、入微地思考,由過去的戰場到未來的芳草淒迷,由微小的草屑到小鳥的爪痕,文學令人跳出現實,不再拘泥於世俗的思想限制,不再是世俗的名和利,不再是理論上的知識,而是令人思考世界、人、自然,一種觀察體味的目光,正如思考人生、世界的意義般,對自己和世界從微小的事物開始思考,不再侷促名利、現實生活所需,從而帶出不一樣的心靈領悟。」

甲部實用寫作 - 大部分考生了解題目及文類要求,整體情況令人滿意。絕大多數考生能以第一人稱寫作,考生所用行文語氣大致符合身分,措詞用語不亢不卑。

上品者行文流暢達意,態度親切。例如有考生在回應題目撰寫演講辭介紹義工服務團舉辦的「寵愛有家」計劃時,具體而扼要地寫出領養寵物的意義:

「此計劃邀請領養者分享感受,講述被遺棄寵物的處境;說明從發現寵物瑟縮於一角的心酸及憐憫,到親自拯救動物而生的感動,及呵護備至而生的感情,動物漸漸交託信任的滿足感。這一切都是購買寵物無可比擬,難以取替的獨有特質。」

乙部命題寫作 - 考生普遍能扣題寫作,罕見離題卷,情況令人滿意。

取材立意方面,考生多圍繞日常生活經歷或見聞取材,大致能擷取扣題素材加以發揮,聚焦題目關鍵元素進行創作。表現較佳考生,立意見心思,能透過個人經歷或事例,引發深刻感情與反思,或探討自我價值、立身處世、文化底蘊等。

遣詞造句方面,考生的語言表達大致恰當,文句通順。表現較佳的考生,詞彙豐沛、用字精煉,並嫻熟運用各類修辭技巧與寫作手法,文章表達效果理想。

結構組織方面,多數考生段落劃分合理,脈絡清晰,整體結構完整。上品者文章結構嚴謹周密:開篇引人入勝,承接流暢自然,轉折巧妙得當,收結餘韻悠長。

英國語文科:

Part A (Short Writing Task) - Most candidates were able to fulfil the task requirements effectively and demonstrated a good understanding of the promotional purpose.

Most candidates demonstrated appropriate language use for describing past events, with stronger candidates effectively employing a wide range of accurate sentence structures and vocabulary. They demonstrated competence in using reported speech and the past tense to narrate incidents, and employed a wide range of adjectives and adverbs to convey emotions and enhance descriptions.

The overall structure was generally appropriate to the leaflet genre, with most candidates following the given order of prompts and maintaining coherence throughout. Candidates generally demonstrated good awareness of their audience…The register, tone, and style were mostly appropriate.

Most responses showed effective use of transitional words and cohesive devices to link different sections, creating coherent and well-organised texts.

Part B (Q5: Blogpost) – Candidates generally performed satisfactorily...Stronger candidates demonstrated language proficiency in describing their experiences vividly through appropriate tense usage, varied vocabulary and diverse language patterns. They were particularly effective at describing dining and cooking experiences with rich detail and engaging language.

Part A (Group Interaction) - The majority of the candidates spoke with good voice projection. Stronger candidates were able to articulate their ideas clearly, using appropriate pronunciation, stress, and intonation to effectively communicate their intended meaning. They were fluent in delivering their speech and were able to intentionally slow down when addressing weaker candidates.

Generally, candidates were cooperative and actively participated. Most candidates employed communication strategies related to body language, such as eye contact when reaching the end of their turn and nodding to show interest while listening.

Stronger candidates were able to use more precise and varied vocabulary when taking their turns. Such candidates made use of more sophisticated adjectives to communicate their meaning (e.g. 'an immersive experience' and 'consider cost effectiveness when using sustainable material'). They were also able to switch from complex to simple language patterns in their speech in a natural manner depending on whom they were addressing.
